My Thoughts
This one doesn’t have much of a description, but it’s the
third book in a series of four books. I said earlier this year that I wasn’t
sure if I would continue with this series or not. Lifeblood really disappointed me. (You can read my full review here.)
However, despite being disappointed in the second book, I
really do enjoy Gena’s writing. I would love to continue with the series, just
to see if it redeems itself. I also really want to collect all of Gena’s books
in physical form, and this series does have really beautiful covers.

I really need to read Showalter. I know she is one of your favorite authors. The covers for this series are great!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't start with this series. Start with her adult Lords of the Underworld books. The first one is The Darkest Night. This YA trilogy is just a little too weird.
