Stacking the Shelves: Another Ebook Edition

"Stacking the Shelves" is a weekly haul meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality. It allows book buyers to share their accumulation of books with the online book-loving community.

I made an impulse buy. Thankfully, it was pretty cheap.

Bone Crier’s Moon by Kathryn Purdie (ebook)

Bone Crier’s Moon was $2.99 on Kindle the other day, so I bought it. I saw this one all over when it was in April’s subscription boxes, and I’m curious. However, I think I’m going to hold off on purchasing a lot of first books in new series until the entire series is out. Obviously, there will be exceptions, but my physical TBR needs to go way down; thus, more ebooks like this one.

What books have you bought/received lately?

  1. I've always had the habit of buying the books as they release and then reading them when they're complete. For some of my other adult series, I held off, which ended up being a bad thing as now some of those middle books are out of print. Probably going back to buying books as they release so that I have them when I am ready for them! Lol.

I decided to just get one copy of this in my subscription boxes. I'm actually kind of shocked how the ones I subscribe to keeping picking the same books. It's a tad annoying, but I know with Owl Crate they're easier to skip. So that helps.

Hope you enjoy this one! I'm kind of curious about it too. I thought I head it was a duology, so they're even better to wait to read because the wait isn't as long!

My StS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

    1. I recently decided to subscribe to Owl Crate, and the duplicate books is one of my worries since I'm also subscribed to Fairy Loot. I'm just glad that they usually have different covers. And it's great if Bone Crier is a duology. I hate waiting 3+ years for a trilogy to finish.

  2. I keep meaning to check out this book -- I've seen it around, but haven't actually heard what it's like! I hope you enjoy it, though!
