Wolfsbane Cover Change

The cover was changed from this:


To this:


Now while I like the cover, it doesn't match my copy of Nightshade at all and I love for my books to match. So yes, I am highly agitated. Is anyone else a little ticked off that the hardback versions aren't going to look similar???

    I have to agree with you. I was excited because Wolfsbane cover is GORGEOUS! and I like the new cover, but it fits the whole paperback idea. Not the hardback one. :(

    I have to agree with you -- the two covers don't follow the same theme. I'm just as ticked off as you are!! Do you have any information on why this was done, and who decided to do it?

    I'm going to check Amazon to see if the original cover is still available...

    I have no idea why this was done. I assume that the people at Philomel, the publisher of Nightshade, made the paperback covers and liked them more than the originals so they decided to change the HB versions.

    You know, I thought that Amazon was carrying the book with the original cover. Then I realized that the book won't be released until July, so of course the cover might be changed by then...Silly me!

    Okay, well, I feel so strongly about this that I looked up the publisher online, and sent them an email!!!

    Are you aware that there's a Twitition you can sign, requesting that Philomel change the BB cover back to the original one?
