a long time… Weird. Maybe it’s because I split a book haul up into two weeks’
worth of posts…?

match, but I’m kind of digging ‘em now. Still upsetting that the hardcovers don’t
match, but maybe I’ll pick up the paperback of LtWR sometime.

for the other books, you’ll notice a theme. I’ve been very into superheroes
lately, so I thought I’d give some comic books a try as well as finally get
around to continuing the Steelheart
books. I really enjoyed the first book, so hopefully I can get to the second
soon.
Oh,
and before I forget (because I usually do forget ebooks in my StSs, I got a
Netgalley copy of Frostblood
by Elly Blake to review. It sounds ridiculously good, so I’m excited.

I hate it when the book covers don't match! One series I got had 6 gorgeous coloured parchment type covers then the new book comes out and is dull and ugly!!!! *rants* I really hate publishers sometimes...Hope you enjoy your books!
ReplyDeleteYeah, a lot of good series have done that. Publishers say it's to get more sales, but I've never really heard of a book that has gotten more sales just because its cover was revamped. Idk. Maybe there is an example, and I just didn't pay attention...
DeleteCONGRATS on winning those three! I read the first two books of the series... and pretty much have forgotten what's happened in the series. It's been years between book two and book three. o_o I'm not a fan of the new covers at all! I liked the original ones. Grrrr! LOL. Anyway, I'll get my grumpy butt out of here. I hope you enjoy all of your new books!
