"Waiting
On Wednesday" is a weekly event, hosted over at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases we're
eagerly anticipating.
This

(Everlife #1)

ONE CHOICE.
TWO REALMS.
NO SECOND CHANCE.
Tenley “Ten” Lockwood is an average seventeen-year-old girl…who
has spent the past thirteen months locked inside the Prynne Asylum. The reason?
Not her obsession with numbers, but her refusal to let her parents choose where
she’ll live—after she dies.
There is an eternal truth most of the world has come to accept:
Firstlife is merely a dress rehearsal, and real life begins after death.
In the Everlife, two realms are in power: Troika and Myriad,
longtime enemies and deadly rivals. Both will do anything to recruit Ten,
including sending their top Laborers to lure her to their side. Soon, Ten finds
herself on the run, caught in a wild tug-of-war between the two realms who will
do anything to win the right to her soul. Who can she trust? And what if the
realm she’s drawn to isn’t home to the boy she’s falling for? She just has to
stay alive long enough to make a decision…
My Thoughts
A
new YA series by Gena Showalter?! Can you see my drool? I’m hoping to get my
hands on this baby before it releases because I need it ASAP! If you have an
ARC I will trade/sell my soul for it. I know there isn't much time left until its release, but I still need it! Please? Anyone?
EDIT: I actually received a Netgalley ARC of this book. Yay!

I have to say THANK YOU to Harlequin Teen for letting
me read and review this. Gena Showalter is a writing goddess and being able to
get an early look at one of her works makes me want to sing nah-nah-nah-nah-boo-boo
to everyone who has to wait until release day to get this. (I’m totally just
kidding. I don’t get ARCs that often, so I feel your pain.) I’m going to stop
being weird now.
What
book are you waiting on this Wednesday?
I really want to read this one too! I'm glad you were able to get a copy from NetGalley! I hope you are enjoying it! Great pick! Here's my WoW. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks! My review should be up on its release day! ;)
DeleteWaiting for Glass Sword, though now that I seen this, I like this one too!

My netgalley request is still "pending." Ugh, I hate when publishers do that. Just say "no!"
