I thought I'd have a small Throwback
Thursday on Sunday, and explore a little more of a certain trilogy that I'm in
love with.
If this works out, I'll basically just
post a book series every week and have people vote on what team they are. I
know the YA
Sisterhood does the YA Crush Tournament, but I just want to find out how
much you guys like one love interest over another, in one series (not multiple series pitted together).
So for this first edition of “What Team
Are You?” I’m going to ask you who your pick of hunky man-flesh is from the
Unearthly trilogy by Cynthia Hand.
You can choose from:
1)
Tucker
or 2) Christian
I'm Team Tucker (because he's a) a cowboy, b) smexy c) witty, and d) smexy), so I'm curious, what team are you? If
you had to choose one, who would it be, and why? If you haven’t read the series
(and why haven’t you?), who do you think sounds more appealing from the Unearthly summary below.
In the beginning, there's a boy
standing in the trees...
Clara Gardner has recently
learned that she's part angel. Having angel blood run through her veins not
only makes her smarter, stronger, and faster than humans (a word, she realizes,
that no longer applies to her), but it means she has a purpose, something she
was put on this earth to do. Figuring out what that is, though, isn't easy.
Her visions of a raging forest
fire and an alluring stranger lead her to a new school in a new town. When she
meets Christian, who turns out to be the boy of her dreams (literally),
everything seems to fall into place and out of place at the same time. Because
there's another guy, Tucker, who appeals to Clara's less angelic side.
As Clara tries to find her way in
a world she no longer understands, she encounters unseen dangers and choices
she never thought she'd have to make between honesty and deceit, love and duty,
good and evil. When the fire from her vision finally ignites, will Clara be
ready to face her destiny?
Unearthly is a moving tale of
love and fate, and the struggle between following the rules and following your
heart.
Yes! Team Tucker. I have honestly NEVER shipped someone as much as I do Clara and Tucker. That's one of the reasons I wanted to cry after I read boundless. No more Tucker. Like EVER. AGAIN. :'( Tucker has officially become my fictional lover/boyfriend/husband/soulmate
ReplyDeleteTucker is definitely pretty amazing! I was sad that he wasn't in Boundless as much as he was the first two books.
