We all know of at least one of these. A publishing company
goes down in flames, or an author can't/won't/doesn't want to write in the
series anymore. And it's incredibly frustrating for readers.
So here are some of the series that I love and will probably
never get the happy ending they deserve.

My Thoughts
I really enjoyed the
first two books in this series, sure the third was a little too weird, but that
hasn't stopped me from wanting a fourth book. Unfortunately, sales didn't go
over too well for Twisted. Gena has no plans to self-publish a fourth
book, or to revisit the world any time soon.
Vampires, werewolves, witches,
shapeshifters -- they live among us without our knowledge. Night World is their
secret society, a secret society with very strict rules. And falling in love
breaks all the laws of the Night World.

It's a battle between black magic and white magic in Spellbinder.
My Thoughts
This unfinished series has been making me mad for years. I feel
terrible for the people who read these books almost 20 years ago, and who still
haven’t gotten the conclusion to the series. L.J. Smith really needs to get it
together.

Rachel Hawkins' delightful spin-off brings the same wit and charm as the New York Times best-selling Hex Hall series. Get ready for
more magic, mystery and romance!
My Thoughts
The Hex Hall
spin-off series didn’t do too hot. But, just because it sold fewer copies than
the best-selling originals doesn’t mean avid fans and readers should have to
suffer. This book left a lot of plot holes open, and I want them solved. I just
don’t think it’s ever going to happen.
